Corrie Ten Boom

1891-1983
Cornelia "Corrie" Ten Boom was a Dutch Christian who along with her father and other family members helped many Jews escape the Nazi Holocaust during World War Two.
She and her family were captured and imprisoned for their actions. Corrie was the only one to survive the horrors of the concentration camp.

Her most famous book "The Hiding Place"   was published in 1971 By Corrie along with John and Elizabeth Sherrill.
A well written account of a sad time in history. A must read, for a must read list.....

A TRUE STORY OF A REAL HERO
Corrie Ten Boom was in her early fifties when she became a key figure in the Dutch Underground Christian Movement during World War Two.
Providing a "Safe House" for fleeing Jews from the Gestapo it is estimated that as many as 800 Jewish people were saved.
