Kristin Hannah was born September 25th, 1960.
She is an award winning and bestselling author of more than 20 books and has sold millions!
Her newest book "The Great Alone" was released February 6th, 2018.

Kristin was born in California. She attended law school in Washington and practiced law in Seattle before becoming a full time writer.

She currently lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington with her husband and their son.

In July 2005 CNN/MONEY and MONEY MAGAZINE named Bainbridge Island the second best place to live in the United States.
